Case Study 2: Relocation and Sale Preparation - Maylands

PRS were contracted by the Real Estate Agent to asset catalogue, pack, relocate, store for 60 days and make good the repossessed premise for sale. The project took 4 days of actual work only.

CLEARANCE

The property held furniture such as beds, white goods and junk but PRS performed an asset catalogue, labelled the items and packed everything into boxes and relocated to storage for 60 days.

Clearance Specific:

  • 2.5 tn of items were relocated to storage;

  • 15 boxes were packed;

  • The listing, packing and relocation took 1 full day; and

  • Storage for 60 days.

MAKE GOOD

In order to get this property leasable, we had to first perform a full property condition report which determined the full extent of the works required. This allowed PRS to produce a scope of works document to the Real Estate Agent with costs for approval from the bank.

Work was completed in 4 days including:

  • Full deep grout & tile clean to two bathrooms and kitchen;

  • Minor painting to upper floors;

  • Full electrical check & RCD maintenance;

  • Garage Door Maintenance;

  • Garden maintenance and mulch to frontage; and

  • Deep internal vacate clean including windows.
